Gabriel is proud to once again partner with Chicago Jesuit Academy to make their students’ Christmas celebration a little brighter and merrier. As part of their last day of school before winter break, Gabriel donated gifts for each student specifically chosen with his interests in mind. Gifts included science kits, drawing supplies, fiction books, LEGOs, non-fiction books, sports equipment, and games. As you can tell from the pictures above, the young men were thrilled with their gifts.
Chicago Jesuit Academy (CJA) offers children with educational and economic needs access to a Catholic, college preparatory middle school education in the Jesuit tradition. In order to qualify for admission to CJA, each young man needs to have passed the fourth grade and qualify for the free or reduced lunch program or his family must be experiencing an extraordinary financial hardship. CJA seeks to serve students who could not otherwise afford a private education. CJA is a full-scholarship institution.
This year, Gabriel’s staff and matching gifts donated presents for 148 students at CJA, plus another 45 foster children with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
Merry Christmas to our friends at CJA and DCFS!
