Spill Plans (SPCC Plans)
To prevent oil spills from reaching the country’s navigable water supply, the Environmental Protection Agency has strict provisions for facilities to maintain a Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan if they have more than 1,320 gallons of oil stored above ground or 42,000 gallons below ground. Gabriel’s Professional Engineers (P.E.), Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (C.H.M.M.), and experienced consultants can help you create and maintain an effective and safe SPCC plan for your facility.
The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD) may also require different facilities to complete and maintain a SPCC plan for other hazardous materials. The MWRD contacts these facilities directly about SPCC compliance.
Over the last 40 years, Gabriel has created hundreds of SPCC plans for our clients, which have often saved lives and prevented property damage. By creating containment options and emergency responses, Gabriel’s SPCC plan will help mitigate any potential damage should a spill occur.
