Lead, Asbestos, and Mold Services

Gabriel has significant experience in sampling, testing, and monitoring when the existence of any of these substances is in question.

Public awareness about the toxicity of lead, asbestos and mold has greatly increased in the last 20 years and has focused much attention on the potential health problems associated with these contaminants.

Lead Services

Lead in drinking water, soil and deteriorating/chipping paint can lead to a host of adverse behavioral, developmental and neurological conditions, with children being especially susceptible. Gabriel conducts on-site sampling and testing in our NELAC-certified laboratory.

Asbestos Services

Asbestos, when intact, is not an issue. However, if it’s disturbed, asbestos fibers can be inhaled and lead to serious health problems, including mesothelioma, a form of cancer. Today, asbestos is banned in most buildings and building materials and is highly regulated by OSHA and the EPA. Gabriel can perform complete onsite sampling and monitoring for asbestos, and conduct laboratory analysis following EPA protocol. Our lab staff has been trained by the McCrone Research Institute and The National Asbestos Training Center, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy.
